 There are Millions of Millionaires in the US.The number of millionaires in the UK however is less than 300,000 and recent falls in property prices will still be affecting these numbers negatively. I know that the population of America is much higher, but so is their attitude to success. Everybody wants to be a millionaire, but in order to do so (or even get near), we have to get off our assets and look for new ways to achieve that goal. According to The Sunday Times this week, "with property prices near to bottoming out, we would expect the number of millionaires to start to rise again in 2011." Well, as many property investors have learned recently, it doesn't pay to have all your eggs in one basket! Remember... RECESSION = OPPORTUNITY... and opportunities abound! |

 Have North Lanarkshire Council lost the Plot?? North Lanarkshire Council have concluded the Public Consultation stage of the local plan and will now retire to discuss any changes to the draft plan released last year. Due to several issues within the draft plan ILI Ltd are still confident of having their site at Dalshannon re-zoned for housing. Mark Wilson has previously commented briefly on an investigation into fraudulent activity regarding the one of the sites in South Cumbernauld that had been included in the draft plan. As many of you already know, I started a very successful Property Networking Club in 2004 which focused mainly on Property Investing in Scotland...this is now a completely new group with a new vision! It will fill you with inspiration and enthusiasm to help you through these trying times.
Over the past few months I have been working with some of the worlds most influential speakers most of whom will be coming to Scotland to show you how they became financially successful and teach you how to do the same.
I want to help you focus on the future, and to move forward with alternative WEALTH CREATION IDEAS.
As well as PROPERTY INVESTMENT, my aim is to present a series of other wealth generating ideas and open your mind to alternative sources of income generation i.e. Property, Stock Market, and Internet Marketing.

Remortgage Cash Incentives Mortgage lenders GMAC, Advantage, Edeus and Oakwood have been writing to borrowers offering them reductions in their mortgage balances if they redeem their mortgage either by selling the property or re-mortgaging elsewhere. The size of these reductions is assessed on a case-by-case basis however; if you do receive a letter from your lender I would not recommend accepting the first offer. Landlord Accreditation Scotland....
in partnership with North Lanarkshire Council will be running a training course for private landlords in Coatbridge on Tuesday 9th June. The training course is entitled “Property Condition & Property Management”.
This is the first of three training courses to be held in conjunction with North Lanarkshire Council throughout 2009/10. The courses are all based on the Scottish Core Standards for Accredited Landlords however the topics covered are appropriate to all those involved in letting property in Scotland.
Topics to be covered in Core Standard Training Session 1 - Property Condition & Property Management:
- Minimum Property Condition
- The Tolerable Standard
- Repairing Standard
- Providing Clear Statements & Detailed Inventory
- Repairs & Maintenance
- Carrying out Repairs
- Energy Efficiency, Insulation & Heating
- Health, Safety & Home Security
Venue: Committee Room 1, Council Offices, Kildonan Street, Coatbridge, ML5 3BT
Time: 1.30-4.00pm & 6.30-9.00pm

Visualizing is the Key to Realizing
What is it that separates the highly successful individual from the average or even successful individual? Why is it that one person seems to achieve extraordinary results on a consistent basis and another, with nearly the same training, hits and misses their accomplishments?
The success technique to which I am referring is visualization. Visualizing is one of the most important techniques you will ever learn and one that is utilized by all high performers.
Visualizing is your key to success for two reasons: Your mind thinks in pictures and images; Your unconscious mind drives your behavior.
Your unconscious mind doesn't know the difference between something that is real and something vividly imagined. Whatever picture (goal) you consistently think about will drive your actions to create that exact picture. When you continually see yourself in possession of your goal, your unconscious mind will move you into actions that align with the mental image you hold.
Here's a quick visualization overview to assure your goal achievement:
1. Create a clear mental picture. You must associate a picture to your goal. You should picture yourself in your vision, rather than watching yourself achieve your goal. This "fine point" separates the masters from the masses. You must create a picture that is so real you believe you already have achieved your success.
2. You must "experience" your vision. You must be in your picture, looking through your own eyes... seeing, hearing and feeling everything as if you have already achieved your goal. You must create the emotion of the moment in your own body.
3. Visualize your goal at every opportunity. Bring up your mental picture while waiting at a stop light, when you're on a break, before your next meeting. The more frequently you plant your picture into your unconscious mind, the more rapidly you will begin to realize increased results in your life.
4. Visualize first thing in the morning and last thing at night. The best time to visualize is in the morning right after you wake up and just before you go to sleep. These are the times when your unconscious mind is most open to influence. When your conscious mind relaxes, your unconscious becomes very receptive to your thoughts, dreams and ideas--particularly ideas with high emotion.
So make a commitment right now to create your picture of achieving your goal. All great masters have taught that we become what we constantly think about.
