Have North Lanarkshire Council lost the Plot??

North Lanarkshire Council have concluded the Public Consultation stage of the local plan and will now retire to discuss any changes to the draft plan released last year. Due to several issues within the draft plan ILI Ltd are still confident of having their site at Dalshannon re-zoned for housing.

Mark Wilson has previously commented briefly on an investigation into fraudulent activity regarding the one of the sites in South Cumbernauld that had been included in the draft plan.

More news was brought to light on Tuesday by BBC Scotland and was reported both on Reporting Scotland as the lead story
